Authentic and place for long stay visitors- a cool mixture of Philippine style +Old World (US, EU)

The only hotel at the Philippines where reality was better than the pictures. A cool place to stay, with supre friendy service. Once you make this experience you understad why so many european people want to stay in Philippines

Wonderful

Maybe 6th or 7th time I have stayed here the staff are great and it's very clean.

Hummmm . The fact even tho it says no smoking in the restaurant they allow people to do so, they also turn a blind eye to disgusting language and people walking around in just shorts when your trying to eat. There is no taxi service so you need to walk down the lane to the road an wait.

The place is very difficult to find coz it's not along the road.and i found it scary...

They played the music late at night and the owner of the hotel was very noisy to think that people who checked in booked to have a rest for some reason like early travel the following day.its very difficult to sleep if the music is too loud

Great food, price, and service, all in an exotic tropical oasis! Loved it!

We were quite happily surprised with the variety of reasonably priced foods offered on the menu, and how delicious everything tasted! The staff were very sweet, the bar drinks also well priced and tasty. The exotic nature-inspired style of the pool and restaurant areas were a real treat... it was really an oasis there! We enjoyed the fun "biker vibe" too!

Although at first we were worried–the neighborhood looked a bit sketchy... but after walking to the nearby grocery and restaurants, our worries were quickly dismissed :)

MB's Garden was a different experience altogether from...

MB's Garden was a different experience altogether from our usual hotel check ins. We liked the 'uniqueness' of the place. Most of all we enjoyed the poolside retreat!

Our only complaint was the shower. The water output was not strong enough and the shower spout was positioned so high. I would suggest that they provide a pail and water dipper as an alternative. Another suggestion is to put a soap dish in the bathroom. Again, it was our first time in Lapu lapu city, MB Garden Inn was difficult to locate, esp to new visitors in the area.

Peaceful, comfortable and relaxing

Overall very nice stay for a quick night before continuing our journey. The place was clean, comfortable and the staff helpful. It's a pity that the beautiful pool was not working at the time.

It would have been better to know about the pool before booking (no information in the corresponding add). I guess this was only a matter of time and it should be all fine again now.

This place is suited for single, fat, western males who like motorbikes

All staff were amazing and the menu is terrific.

I stayed one night in Room 14 and I do not recommend it because there was a very strong chemical smell all throughout the room so I ended up taking my pillow and blanket outside and sleeping on the banana chair, which was great but not exactly what I had paid for. The staff are amazing and they put up with a lot of BS from male patrons and also from management. The food menu and service is terrific. Dear Management, please deal with the chemical leak in Room 14 and until it is fixed, do not place any guests inside this room. It is unfit for humans. Thank you.

Honest simple accommodation.

It's inexpensive, efficient, the food is freshly cooked, generous and well priced. Beers are cold and it's a simple friendly place with old boys hanging around the bar passing time. It's not a beach resort but it's honest, the rooms are clean.

It's fine.

We found MB’s to be everything we needed- we had initially...

We found MB’s to be everything we needed- we had initially only booked 1 night as we arrived late to Cebu (11pm) and weren’t sure of our plans after that but our flight was late and my only contact was through booking.com and they received my message and made sure they were able to greet us when we finally arrived at 2am! Then as we decided to stay for another night they also made it possible by shuffling rooms around which we were so grateful for! Great location, very helpful staff, yummy food!
